The Caveland Adventure Tour takes visitors to the lush green mountains of Morovis with ancient caves which were declared a Natural Reserve in 2012. In this area exist around 60 caves but we will be Exploring #4. Here lived our ancestors the Tainos and the Arcaicos. All around and within these cave systems can be seen Petroglyphs (ancient Taino writings) as well as fossils discovered by Archaeologists, including, a prehistoric manatee and a cranium of an extinct Sloth. Important Notice: Since September 2017, due to Hurricane Maria, tours in El Yunque Rainforest have been limited to select companies, and Puerto Rico Tour Desk is one of the few that are allowed to visit. The tour will be restricted to certain areas as recovery work continues. Our first stop will be in one of the most picturesque waterfalls in the rainforest (La Coca).
